Mobile Control of Robo Vacs for SharkNinja
We created a native mobile experience for SharkNinja that allowed users to interact with their robot vacuums. Using Google’s design sprint methodology paired with extensive user testing and interactive prototyping, we coordinated with external stakeholders to execute a comprehensive, multi-phase design and iteration plan.
Our design team designed a high-craft user experience around several key functional areas including: onboarding and NUX, map and room creation/editing, cleaning, scheduling, history, and troubleshooting, among others.
Mobile best practices were used to design solution that increased customer ratings by more than 65%. We conducted a two-day design workshop in addition to continuous user research and testing. Our team also developed a comprehensive design system for all components comprising the experience.
Wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes were chief design deliverables for this engagement.
